HAHA! As a Honda owner I recongize that! That would be a JDM Integra front-end.

Its not the headlights that bothers me, but the Oversized side skirt scoop and the top scoop that probably doesn't even work. And from here that wing looks like its huge too.

The JDM integra headlight conversion at least give the guy those *clear* headlights that alot of the 95-96 owners want. Should have kept the grill though.

Funny how with the money that dude dumped on all that crap he could have lowered it and put on some decent wheels. I guess he likes that look! http://www.freshalloy.com/

Thing is, the stuff that makes the red one oogly is easily remedied. It's hard to tell from one picture, but the car looks pretty clean and straight. Pull off all the stick-on junk and get new wheels and I bet you'd have a pretty nice car!

That red S13 owner is just lacking from a sense of good taste. At least he has pride in his car.....
.....Hey, I'm trying to find something good to say for the poor misguided guy!

Like Zen S14 said about the S14 in this link... http://www.streetracing.org/events/is2001/page2/is120.jpg
I don't have a problem with the lights, it's the huge ass wing and overexcited side skirts that look really bad.

And the Integ in this link... http://www.homestead.com/importfan_headlight/headlight_C_Nis_S15_on_Integ00.html

I don't have a problem with it having beautiful S15 lights on it, I have a problem with his NSX side scoops. What is he cooling back there????

It's a "low-rider" cutomizing element. Low riders are traditionally done by Latinos in Southern California. They've had low-riders in their culture for decades. Small chrome or gold wire rims are just part of the look.

Believe me though, it's not an "American" obsession, it's a "low-rider" obsession.

You know, everyone has their own style...

FYI, all the lowrider Nissan's you see are from Japan. Same with the R33 w/Dayton's. I just don't understand why when one person posts a picture of what s/he thinks is "bad taste", everyone jumps on the bandwagon to criticise it.

Anyway I think those Nihonjin esses are like the um.. Honda.. persons... they don't have 66 Impalas to turn into a low rider just like we don't get SR20DET from the factory. http://www.freshalloy.com/

I for one like Vanning, especially those vans with the big screens in the back and a jacuzzi, "SO PLAYAH!" http://www.freshalloy.com/

Oh yeah that grey 180SX is has those air bag suspension. I wouldn't do it to a 180, but I'd bagg a Gloria or Aristo or basically any VIP car. I wish I could afford a Y32 http://www.freshalloy.com/

The fact that you couldn't drive it anywhere. You would get stuck in the driveway and could turn more then 15degrees without the wheels hitting the fenders.

I know I know, I posted those pics but notice, I didnt insert my (often unwanted) opinion! ;) Oh well, since you guys are blabbing, I'll just talk out-loud..

I am glad that (almost) everyone noticed that the cars are in Japan. Apparantly, the obviously DIFFERENT (not good OR bad) tradition of low-riders has visited Japan. I cannot say I LOVE low-riders, but EVERY enthusiast has to admit.. those cars are detailed in EVERY way. I mean, I have a lot of friends.. some of them build-up race cars, others build-up low-riders.. regardless of WHAT people do, as long as they put time, effort, and do a clean job.. they deserve respect for their work. If everyone had the same opinion, we'de all be boring..

BUT, what is wrong with the above? Well, I had a hard time beleiving that someone ACTUALLY put a vinyl top on an S13. Lucifer, well that car speaks for itself.. its just insanely clashing (IMO). As for the grey one, I am not a fan of chrome headlight moldings.. eeeugh!

Slightly off the UGLY 240SX but still with the LowRider theme.
Today a saw the ugliest/funniest car of my life!

A 92 Honda Civic Hatback in Teal Green lowered to 3 inches of the ground with small 10 inch Chrome lowrider wheels. They stuck out from the car 10". The inside of the wheel was flush with the fender! It made it look like an Open Wheel car!!!!

Wish I had my camera so you all could see and have the same laugh I did.

Ya know, just for that.. I am going to post these two fine automobiles.

Pay close attention to the JDM Super-Van, and its plethora of fine modifications. With 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a dining hall.. and many other amenities, this car is perfect for any family!

http://www.clearcorners.com/Image7.jpg

I am sure after that image, you're thinking "tempting, but I want something more classy." Well ladies an gentlefolk, this is a one of a kind USDM "Puke-Van." It has a custom wing with some sort of power-hose going through it.. probably to disperse the pee from the toilet in the back. Who knows!

http://www.clearcorners.com/Image8.jpg

If you live in the SoCal area, you might be lucky enough to see the puke van in person! I did! About 2 months ago, I was graced with his precense on the 101 near Van Nuys. Let me tell you, I quickly realized why that image was called "pukevan.jpg" when I saw the car DRIVING.

I beleive Daytons (wire-wheels) were very expensive back in the day. A set of 15x10's or something like that, would cost maybe 1-2k per rim. Sorta like the reason Lorenzer rims are so expensive. I just met a dude with an E-Class the other day, he put 20" Lorenzer's with P-Zero's.. I mean, these tires were absolute >bling bling< -- he said it set him back around 10k.. I beleive him too. I see this stuff all the time at the local muffer shop. Yesterday there was a S600 with big 20" Lorenzers.. it was UNBELEIVABLE clean, I think a black guy owned it. Then there was the more low-rider modded new Monte Carlo.. it had 18" gold wire-wheels.. sure it was clean, but the rims werent exactly my taste. Plus, the offset made them stick out about 1/2 foot too much..

DOH! What to do, everyone has their style. Its a pretty well-known muffler shop on the west-side, AAA-Mufflers.. they do a lot of work for 310 Motoring and other high-end car shops. They're mostly luxury oriented though, selling REMUS & Lorinzer. I think the sportiest stuff they sell is Sebring, which I havent heard much of lately. I remember Sebring exhausts used to be pretty popular back in the day though, with Flowmaster/Dynamax, Trust, and RS*R..
