the more and more i see the maxima.... the more i like it. it looks extremely sharp in black. i was suprised by the price... a black SE with the elite package only came out to a little over 33k... Not bad. And why would you get this car over the G35? well, they both have their pros and cons. And whatever which way you choose, you just can't lose! http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I agree that the car looks awesome (as my son would say) in black. I just can't wait to see it in that color or even the blue.

The dark blue SE with the 18" wheels and the tan leather interior is awesome. I had the opportunity to drive an SE pretty hard, and the ride is awesome. No body roll, and it is on the stiff side (hey, it is an SE afterall) similar to the ALtima SE, but with none of the harshness in the Altima. All in all, the SE is actually that, an SE with true sporting intentions, as opposed to a Camry "SE" with merely has a different interior and larger wheels. If I did not need an SUV I would definately be getting one.

Stotty, how was the torque steer? Was the one you drove equipped with VDC?

Is "awesome" a new word for you? http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif

VQfanatic..no, but my 3 year old son says it so much that it gets stuck in your head. Got to love 3 year olds. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yeah, I'm just kidding with you. My 1.5 year-old niece has me saying "Zow" all the time. Anyway, I'm eager to drive this new Maxima, now that it's all grown up!

Just looked at both gen's 5th and 6th, the new maxima is so much nicer in every dimension. In addition to the style growing on me, did u check out the MSRP on the 3.5SE. The front wheel drive has to change, i'm afraid that i'm gonna have to trade in my 2000 max for the new one.

I did not like the front at first, but I seen one in person and I really like it the tooth is not so bad in person.

Wow! Designing one for myself truly makes me want one. Designed an SE loaded to the hilt, and the price (~36k) doesn't bother me. Look at those options in the Elite Pkg, yeowzer! Only one problem, I couldn't seem to find the AWD option http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/smirk.gif...
