Are the s13 redtop and blacktop ECU wire colors the same at the main harness connector? How about the pinout locations, are they much different?

This is what I have for AFC v2 wiring for a redtop and just wondering if my blacktop wire colors will be any different.

----------------
I believe we got it translated, at least the wiring anyway. If anyone needs it this is for a red top ecu.
grey afc wire - ecu pin 20 white wire tps
white afc wire - ecu pin 16 white wire maf signal*
yellow afc wire - ecu pin 16 white wire maf signal*
purple afc wire - ecu pin 27 white wire knock sensor
green afc wire - ecu pin 3 yellow/red wire tach signal
red afc wire - ecu pin 47 black/white wire eccs power
black afc wire - ecu pin 39 black wire eccs ground**
brown afc wire - ecu pin 39 black wire eccs ground**

* cut the wire coming from ecu, yellow wire goes to ecu,
white wire goes to sensor.

** ground wires 1 cm apart from each other with brown closer to ecu.

This is fir the new afc v2 so if anybody needs it here it is. It will not be released in the U.S. untill april. Maybe we could faq this until then

Any help would be appreciated.

I think it depends on what year 180sx blk top. I noticed the newer one I think it was 96 (could be wrong)was diffrent.

94-95 black top should be the same. 96-98 is not.

Is there a way to tell which gen it is? For example my ECU has Mitsubishi chips (which I'm guessing is 94-95) in it and my friends has Jecs chips in his (96-98?), we cant verify if his ECU belongs to his engine but mine is verified to be the one that came with the engine.

Look at the part number, and search for the thread where SRFiveTen ran a whole bunch of Nissan ECU part numbers.

You only need the two big numbers, something like "E5"??

E5 is the 94-95 blacktop manual tranny ECU.

It will run the redtop as well.
