If the turbo is in good shape you should be able to sell it easily. Post it on the 240sx.org classifieds.

Easily sold. I'm sure someone on the SER list would pay some good money for it. Its the manifold JWT used for the G20 turbo that was in SCC

On another note, i was going to get the kit you just talked about. So post alot of pics and your impressions with dyno charts. Make sure to get the car happy with fuel (air fuel with a wideband O2) before you hit any considerable boost.

I don't think the RWD SR20DET manifold is the same as the FWD one...

I know they are the same. I built mine off a 91 sentra Flange from Thomas Knight turbos supplied Flange.

Touche`

i'm wasted.........i guess outlet flange location could be different between the cars. I have yet to deal with a FWD det yet so i cant say for sure.

Here's some evidence that they're not the same. Check out these pics:

RWD manifold (and turbo):

FWD manifold from a Pulsar GTi-R:

Things to note:
The turbo flange location is slightly different -- the FWD manifold puts the flange directly in line with the #3 exhaust port, whereas the RWD manifold looks like it's somewhere between #3 and #4.

More notably, the FWD manifold looks a lot more compact -- the RWD manifold sure sticks out a lot from the head. I'd imagine this is because clearance from the manifold to the radiator is tight on a FWD car such as a Sentra.

And, yes, the flanges look the same http://www.freshalloy.com/

I don't think a RWD SR manifold would work in a FWD application just due to clearance issues alone.
