Anyone have an experiences with the Essential Radiators (2 row) that ProjectSilvia carries? I havent seen these anywhere else, just curious if they had much advantage over stock, they are only $260 for s14.

Ive got one and Im here in texas where its pretty hot. The radiator is manufactued by koyo. While not as pretty as the aluminum koyo, it works very well. I have not experienced any overheating problems all summer. For the price this is a good radiator.

Robert doesn't end to carry crappy products. If he sells it, it is probably good quality. I might have to look into getting one for my s13 SR- hmmm

I am assuming the piping is setup for SR right?

if the essential radiators is made by koyo.
why not just buy a koyo?
you are just paying for the label on the box.

I need to find a good option for a KA type radiator for the RB since they have inlets on the same side.

Fluidyne is all I have found thus far.

I think you have it backwards Sam. If the essential radiator is only $260 and the koyo is around $350 wouldn't you be paying for the Koyo name rather than the essential name?

looking back at another SR rad post I am still leaning towards the 240Z rad that is a 3 row core and only $131 new. 3 row core is better than a 2 row and its half the price.

ummm..... sam is right. your going to pay $260 for copper core raditor made by koyo labeled essential or
$160 for an copper core raditor made by koyo labeled koyo. it's just that there are not many 2 row copper radiators out there for the sr application. that is why the koyo alum is so popular.

Zero_Balance, I've seen some 27"x19" two-core, double-pass aluminum radiators on ebay for around $230 or $260 which look pretty tempting, I'll probably be buying one for my VG30ET swap as the inlets and outlets are on the same side of that motor as well...
