How thick should the downpipe flange be that bolts on to the back of my t3/t4? I am having my downpipe made and dont want to have to replace that flange later on because it was too thin and warped from all the heat... the turbo uses the 5 bolt style flange (its externally wastegated) if that makes a difference.

I'd say that 3/8" should be good, although you may want to get 1/2".

1/2" flanges r the best less warpage when u weld on it

thanks all, I have a 3/8" flange that im going to use for now. In a couple months I think Ill get a 1/2" flange or maybe even a vband, hopefully I wont have any problems with the 3/8" flange in between now and then.
