I have a 97 240sx KA-T.
I put the HKS ignition in and I am having problems with starting. it hesitates to start and then runs fine after. I disconnect the harness and my problem goes away.

this is how I hooked it:
red= black/red wire
yellow= green wire

Am I doin something wrong or hooking something up wrong?

T.Y., Please help!!!

Hmm, that sounds right. To make it fuzzy clear, you tapped/spliced into the 2 wires on the 2 wire plug?

That should be it. I have no problem with mine. You are the first that I've heard of that is having problem. I would double check your wiring.

That's how mine is hooked up and noticed an improved start up. Check for a better ground source.
