What have you done about the headliner? My '93 coupe is stripped (exc. door panels, front seats, dash, and console), but the headliner remains. I'd really like to take it off, but I don't know what's going to be underneath. I have a power sunroof, which I don't know will look like total ish with the headliner off. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Evan

who cares, if your taking it off for a reason, then the looks wouldnt matter.

my headliner is gone.
there is a thin layer of insulation or something in there which just slides right out. then it is just bare metal. very comfy. chicks dig it.

when you strip out your interior is there adhesive everywhere, like something that holds the carpet pad, or will it just leave clean paint like in the above picture?

If you have a sunroof u might want to leave the headliner in place. My backseat is gutted now but I left the headliner on. Why remove it anwyay? It weighs almost nothing.

adhesive? Hm, not in my 91 hatch I stripped. Just bare metal.

No adhesive in my '93 coupe...except for the sound deadening material...which is almost gone http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Only reason I want to remove the headliner is because it's really dirty, ripped, and hangs down over the quarter windows. In orther words, it looks like crap.
