I have a question about the small (6in by 3/4in) brake light that's just under the spoiler. Are there any options for me to replace it with something else. Not clear but maybe smoked or something black because my cars black? Also can I put a different type of bulb in there?

I think the purple jellybean aka russ grogans car has a supra rear light. Its clear and fits right in there. It stuck out a little and did not appear to have stock fittment but looked cool from 5 feet back.

There is a smoke vinyl that you could use to cover it up with also, and it will be cheap.

To answer the bulb question, yes, you can put different bulbs in it. Although it wouldn't make much sense unless you can get a clear lens. Unfortunately they are not LED's in there. It's like 6 or 8 regular little light bulbs. I'm kind of at a loss as to what kind they are but they might be the 168's like in the corners, above the license plate, etc. but don't quote me on this.

We can make clear or smoked third brake lights for the S14 with high-intensity LEDs. Let me know if interested..

Grease, you COULD spell my name right. Geez. The Supra 3rd light is a direct fit, but try finding one from a salavge yard. Took 3 months to come up with one. Dealer wants $267 for it.

Summit sells that VHT blackout paint for like 6 bux a can. You can use that to make your smoked third brake light...

How the hell do you remove this piece? Me and the guy at the body shop are wondering... We took off the pieces on the sides holding it on but what else is there? I saw 3 little black clips, are those the last things holding it on?

There is a weather seal around the light to keep moisture out. Try pushing on the light from the outside until the seal peels away.
