Does anybody know if the S2000 rims will clear Z32tt brakes? The size for the front is 16 X 6.5 5X114.3 with a 55 offset. I have a feeling that 55 may be a little high, but they are an inch smaller than the z32 wheels in width with a 45 offset.

Thanks in advance

The S2000 wheels won't even fit on your car, how's that?

64mm center bore.

Cool, I was wanting to borrow a set from a friend because he has R compund tires, which would have been nice for this weekends autox.

I guess that settles that thought.

Thanks for the quick reply. Its good to see that there is more people like me who spend way too much time on this board http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I just put on some 300ZX TT wheels. I needed a 5mm spacer up front to clear the shock but they look great and of course they clear my 300ZX TT brakes.

I got them for 300 bucks for wheels and tires. You may want to look into a set of them.

That clears a few things up. If you were planning on staying in the stock class, would the wheels not have bumped you anyways?

What's this center bore thing? What is the stock center bore on 240s?

It's the center bore...the big hole in the center of a wheel. It fits over the hub on the car, so that the load is borne by the hub rather than the lugs. The 240 and most other Nissans use 66.1mm hub bores.

Im not in a stock class, I run in stx (it says it in my sig). R compound tires are not stx legal, but I am running in the Axis vs Allies event in South Georgia this weekend, so I was leaning towards street mod since there will be a lot more competition. Plus looking at their webpage I dont really see any stx cars. Looking at their previous results for street mod, the biggest competion will be a miata which should be in street mod II because 4 seats and seatbelts are required. Im not too worried about their regular street mod contenters, they seem to be big heavy cars such as an Audi A6 and Mustangs.

First Attack at 7:53

Please tell me the car doing the "First Attack" won't be a Mitsubishi. That's just wrong.

Any OE factory wheel is hubcentric; meaning, the center bore of the wheel is the exact fit for the hub on said car.

Since the Honda center bore is smaller than the Nissan center bore the S2000 wheels will not fit on the 240SX without enlarging the center bore of the S2k wheels.

makes sense now thanks mav. i guess s2k wims won't work on a 240 but 240 rims should fit sk2 then right?
