View Full Version : Importance of RAS, what RPM?

How high is it safe to rev to without RAS on an SR. I typically do not rev my SR high, but just want to know if it would be worth adding RAS to my motor.

I am running stock turbo, so I don't get that much power at high revs anyways.

you can rev to redline all you want. its just that theres a chance for some floating in that high rpm range. good point on hte t25 though, i always shifted at 7k with that turbo, you really dont need to go past that, so i wouldnt worry. if you get anything bigger its going to want to pull to redline, and you might want to look into some RAS then

i think the general synopsis is to just install them when you get new cams, since they are cheap and youll have everytihng off anyways
