More Primera and Stagea

Why would you want more info on the Primera & Stagea?

That can be easily found as opposed to the Micra and March.

But I don't care about the sheety little microcarz.
This is Freshalloy.com, not Freshalloy.ca
... if Canadians need their OWN Freshalloy newz-source so they can debate microcarz all day, they should get their own Freshalloy.

We like to talk about real cars here, not Geo Metros and the like.

lol!

I guess Toyota must be failing horribly with their US only brand based on "sheety little microcarz"? http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

And why do Scion & A class threads in the Car Lounge get so many replies?

Noel, come back here because we have many questions for you on the cars you got to drive.

Easy MTX easy, no need to make this a US vs Canada thing. The truth is that there is a market for small cars, not all consumer want gas guzzling SUV's. That and the fact that the price of gas is through the fooken roof.

M_TYPE_X: Please calm down. Everyone has their own interests and has a right to ask.

Microcars may end up being popular in certain areas of the U.S. in a few years if gas prices continue going up.

We'll have some impressions of the March here by tomorrow.

MTX is an aquired taste, and you learn not to take him seriously after a while, like say, after his first 10k posts http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Hotsauce, that's really funny.

Noel wants to make everyone welcome on FA, which of course is his job. And I really should help towards that end more than I do.

But that doesn't mean I have to like Nissan's microcars and hugeass trucks, or the "cosmopolitan city" types and "working men" types who they appeal to. And I've already called the Quest and its marketing campaign a bust... "cool moms" ?? Who ever heard of that?
Minivan = Pontiac Montana. Really now.

Do you guys think a 2-door V6 Altima would be an 'acquired taste' ?? If Nissan is going to go after GM's market share and its customers, we should take the 'cool' guys who would have bought a Toronado or Grand Prix coupe if they were still offered. The Aveos and Silverados... why does Nissan need to try to copy these?!

I won't say anymore, because I don't want to become Jean Jennings. Her latest Automobile Magazine piece on Nissan 360 was a little too critical of the lineup, with emphasis on the criticism and not on the lineup. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

[Wow, a rare remarkable post from Noel!]
You're right. These are forums for the entire Nissan-Infiniti community, from Pulsars to the Q45.
And because this is the News forum, instantly accessible through the front Freshalloy page, there's no need to have our big debate here ... we should take it to PPF or Why/Why Not.

I reserve the right to laugh. New York City? San Francisco?
Car-loving Californians are going to be driving around in microcars originally designed for Japanese girls?

We'll have some impressions of the March here by tomorrow.

Eagerly awaited, as all product reviews are here on FA.

I still don't get it. The ECHO's ugly profile and merry-go-round handling stink, but the March shines? I think this is a case of "my chit is better than yours" .... http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
I can pull that kind of rhetoric up on Blueovalnews or TOV anyday.

I'm tired of hearing about microcars and hybrids. The middle market is important, and Nissan has that handled well with its V6 cars. Infiniti's top-line luxury lineup is still being worked on. I'm most concerned about non-SE Altimas and the Sentra line. Work on the compacts and lower midrange... microcars is a diversion of resources from what's really important.

M TYPE X ... your "middle of the road, totally calmed down, no polemics here, as solidly sober as an Oldsmobile Alero" poster. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
I don't like low-end bubbleboxes or huge trucks... I'm about "equality on the roads" [although with Acuras, Infinitis, and Lexuses... some are just More Equal than others... http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif ]!

We have both these small little subcompacts and huge huge trucks on the roads thesedays. I don't like it one bit. Nissan isn't helping any, and like I said before, they pass muster if they meet the PROFIT test. Otherwise, the ECHO, Fit, and March are sad heirs to the sporty styling of Tercels and Pulsars past!

I thought it was supposed to be Nissan 180? If you do a 360 you are still facing the same direction. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Anyway someone should make an updated model matrix.
