By That Video Guy

|
Today’s review: Quantum of Solace
Cast: Daniel Craig, Olga Kurylenko, Mathieu Amalric, and Judi Dench
Summary:
This follows the Casino Royale in the Bond timeline. Bond is still angry about what happened with Vesper from Casino Royal. He seems angry and on a killing spree. M thinks he’s a loose canon. The rest is pretty much the same ole Bond. He’s pretty confrontational with the bad guy. Bad guy tries to get Bond killed, fails and in the end Bond spoils the bad guy’s plan and saves the day.

Review:
Wow this was a bad Bond movie. One of the worst if not worst Bond movies ever. Perhaps not as slow as some of the Sean Connery Bond movies, but the storyline and dialog was clumsy and rushed. No character development. Even though they followed the Bond formula, it just wasn’t interesting. Some of the action scenes were incredible but it was not enough to save this Bond movie. It had one fight scene that was pretty incredible as he was getting flown through roofs and window and chasing a bad guy on roof tops. But that was kind was all done in Casino Royale. Didn’t feel fresh at all. I must say the chemistry between Bond and the supposed main Bond Girl, was next to nothing. Don’t waste your time at all. Not even for the car scenes or fights will save you from wasting your time if you see this movie. If you want to see a movie this weekend see The Fast and the Furious instead or maybe see Fast & Furious in the theater instead. Even watch Casino Royal again, which was a great Bond movie.
