There are really two basic rules to being an acceptable teacher.

First of all, let’s explain what acceptable teacher means. Acceptable means that the instructor won’t do something that results in being fired, suspended, etc. With over-populated classrooms and low salaries, educational institutions will take just about anybody. As I was saying… the two rules to being an acceptable teacher are:

1. Don't kill anyone.
2. Don't show up drunk at work.

Straightforward. Uncomplicated. Not too demanding. If a person follows those two rules, chances are they will keep their job and maybe (by accident) impart a sliver of wisdom to a pupil. Despite such low standards, there are some who refuse to adhere to these two rules.

Daniel Winksy is such an individual. Daniel Winksy was arrested and convicted of driving under the influence. Here’s the interesting twist: Daniel Winsky is a driving instructor. Now if that wasn’t bad enough, Winsky was arrested while giving a lesson! That’s right, folks. While Mr. Winksy “controlled” the emergency set of brakes on the passenger side as he taught a young, inexperienced teen the fundamentals of operating a vehicle, he was sauced.

Two rules, Winksy. There were just two rules you had to follow. You could have told the youngster that stop signs were a suggestion and you wouldn’t have been arrested. It is people like Daniel Winsky who make me say… WTF?!
