I know the concept has been out for some time, but what do you guys think?

Although the Nissan truck line isn't necessarily crowded, Nissan definitely has enough models in that category. I think it's a good concept, but would that defeat the purpose of the Frontier Crew Cab?

By the way, those rims look very familiar. Are they the Borbet CW3's? I'm planning to fit those 18-inchers on my Frontier.

Is there are URL I can look at to view the SUT?

to Maxima man. you can view the SUT concept at www.thecarconnection.com. (http://www.thecarconnection.com.) they have pictures of all new models of cars and concepts.

to Nismoboofer. 18 inchers would probably look pretty good on your frontier. is it a 4x4? there is also an aluminum billet grille insert available for the Frontier. i've only seen it online so obtaining one might take some doing but i've seen pictures and the truck really looks good with it. just a suggestion.

Actually, mine is a 4x2. But when the piggy bank is full, I will be purchasing a suspension lift (3") from Fabtech Motorsports, which specializes in two wheel drive suspensions.

Are you thinking about getting the new Frontier SC when it comes out this fall?

I would love to. But since pops bought me a Frontier when it came out in '98 (when I turned 16), a Frontier SC is out of the question.

Actually, I don't quite understand something. Why don't they put in the upcoming Pathfinder engine (or at least a derivative)? And, as even a bigger bonus, develop an optional Supercharger beyond that? This power would definitely, without a doubt, allow the Frontier (and later, the Xterra) to surpass competition.

The V6 from Toyota pumps out 190 hp and 220 ft-lb. With the TRD supercharger, it's bumped up to 265 and 267, respectively.

I understand that Nissan is strapped for money. Wishes are, though, what they should promote as the NISMO supercharger (package) onto the Pathfinder's future engine.

Probably because the Frontier is due for a full redesign in 2 years, it takes too much
effort to put in the pathfinder engine on it
now.

Yes the supercharger boosts only 40 hp which
doesn't seem much but it's a manufacturer
approved supercharger so probably they want
to play safe by avoiding potential durability
problem if the hp increase is too much.
