lifter clatter at startup

my 99 maxima has had one instance at 5 k miles of loud lifter clatter at startup, after an overnight sit in mild weather. I figured the anti drainback valve in the oil filter was bad and put in an aftermarket oil filter. No more problems. Anyone else had this?

Its acctually the timing chain that rattles, Nissans are famous for the rattle, in most cases they are harm less, but if U own a SR20DE car, and have clatter at start up, be prepared for a timing chain TENSIONER swap, its like a 30 min job, and it fixes all of that. I have done this 3 times on my own SE-R now.
