I just saw Bill Ford being interviewed on a morning talk show. You should have seen his face during this conversation:

Host: "So this new Ford Escape will be the first hybrid vehicle from an American company, because the Japanese have had these for years, right?"

{pause}

Bill Ford: "Well, you see, we at Ford feel that our hybrid will..."
