I believe thats the new IS300 or IS350 (new name). BUt want a ripoff (not surprising Toyota stole a design)- it has the body shape of the G35 sedan.

PS: Sorry I am not much of a translator. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Lexus of GT models

Attack with hybrid

New Top models of Lexus are to take up it with established force showing off. Concept: sharp Design and hybrid technology.

Lexus wants to directly attack the German noble models in the next years - with hybrid drive and an optics like a rolling challenge. Thus the Japanese will crown all models with a sporty Topmodell, which is called GT: IS 350 GT, gs 350 GT and LS 500 GT.

Which impresses, is the technology: The LS 500 GT gets a hybrid drive. New, five litres the large V8 with 400 HP support electric motors at the front axle, which to it-shoot up to 200 HP. An all wheel system helps to bring the strength on the soil and to accelerate the largest GT on over 300 km/h. Thus the Lexus on the level of the strongest AMG of models- and in consumption would lie under it. In August 2006 the Top Lexus for approximately 100,000 dollar is to roll to US dealers.

Similarly the technology of the gs 350 GT: 3,5-Liter-V6 with 300 HP (Koproduktion with Yamaha), to it 170 HP strong electric motors in front, all-wheel drive. The smaller IS 350 GT against it sets strong V6 and a again developed sequenzielles six-course transmission for 300 HP on classical rear-wheel drive, - the goal of the small middle class sportsman is called BMW M3. Also with the SUVmodels GT versions are planned - is not certain whether likewise with hybrid technology. Is however probable: Model RX 400h (V6-Hybrid) comes end of the yearly on the market.

Interesting...
Reminds me of a Holden instead of a G35...

Why does everyone always claim every new car is a rip off Nissan/Infiniti's designs? That car in no way rips on a G35, have you ever seen a Lexus GS?

Other then the fact that this car is more Bulkier and with different headlights and grill- it's a G35. I am sure Lexus will put their finishing touches on it when it comes close to production. With numerous articles mentioning that Nissan is one of the design leader in the industry, I am sure that everyone is taking notice at the hot selling products and building their oun variation of them. I'll give Lexus the credit for the GS but not for the technology that they clam they had invented! It takes true car loves to really understand the true passion of technological innovention and give credit to those that design and implement them first.

No, it looks nothing like a G35 other than having 4 doors, it has much more of a resemblance to the new large BMWs in the rear 1/4, but closer to previous Lexi than anything else.

I dont see the resemblence to the g35 either http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/confused.gif Looks more like the 7 series from the A-pillar back. The front looks like a mix between the new TL and the GS.

Lexus never claimed they invented anything. They do claim they include a lot of standard features typically found as options on other luxury marques.

I love infiniti and the G as much as anybody but I see no specific resemblance between that baby Lexus and the G. It's simply advancing the new look of Lexus as shown in the new GS. In, short it looks like a baby GS.

Uh oh, the Lexus IS has lost its luster if this is it.

http://bilder.autobild.de/bilder/1/48341.jpg

I'll miss the crisp lines, the sharp beautiful C-pillar. This appearance is watered down as if the car was placed in a rock tumbler and left in there way too long.

I though the round bathtub Taurus look was gone, well, obviously not at Lexus.

Mazda, Saab, Range Rover, _ fill the blank there is no denying the fact that BMW has influenced the look of many new vehicles. Anyone see the new 45(range rover) sold in Europe its a dead ringer for a BMW.

As for this IS replacement I think that it’s a worthy successor!

Right, which is a design that Nissan took from Lexus. Trust me, we have a silver '02, my ex's grandparents have a silver GS430, and on multiple occasions the cars were confused in the driveway.
