Crank pulley= No supercharger???

Need clarification on the reason Stillen says not to combine the supercharger with the crank pulley set. I wanted to get the supercharger for my car, doesn't have to be Stillens', but wasalso looking to do the pulley mod! On the Vortech kit at least, you cannot underdrive the crank pulley but you can replace the other two pulleys that come in the three-pulley set.

I have a feeling that with a SC, you won't miss the crank pulley at all.

you can use a pulley with a turbo kit...

but not with a super charger...

the super charger is being turned by the crank pulley...

if you under drive the supercharger... what would be the point... it would be like putting on 1lb of boost rather then 7...

I agree with everyone else but one other thing you could do is have someone custom make an aluminum crank pulley that is larger than the original so that you get more boost out of the supercharger. Although it would probably be the most expensive pulley ever.
