Why did point this out? It is for marketing ideas. Maybe Nissan/Infiniti can do the same and sell some cars along the way. I would however suggest that they go with folks with clean images if at all possible. Too bad P. Diddy is aligned with Navigator. Maybe try Tim Duncan, as an extension of the Am. Express commercial. How about LL? Russell Simmons?

I suggest Baby from Cash Money because he's known for his cars. He could pimp out the Q45 which might increase the sales of this thing.

Stopped by a Chrysler dealership yesterday and was looking at the 300s on the lot. Then suddenly, around the corner I noticed another row of them. They were all 300s dropped off by their owners (had active license plate on vehicle). Each had the problem written on the side glass...all problems were electrical (airbag light stuck in ON position, Check Engine Light ON, ABS light ON, stere will not turn ON etc), then one had Loud engine knock when A/C engaged). The other thing was the date the vehicle was dropped off and the dates were all 5/24 and 25...and it was 5/31 and they were still there. The dealership even failed to lock the doors on 3 of them.

Why cater to hip hop stars? I'm not going to buy a vehicle just because 50 cent is driving something. In fact, I'd buy something else just so I'm not affiliated with the hip hop "bling bling" crap. Damn, I hate the word "bling bling." I just don't get that whole culture/phenomenon that's going on right now.

They buy lots of cars, you ever see how many cars Baby from Cash Money has?He has over 8 cars, what he says is hot lots of people will go and buy one. Look at Bentley, Jermaine Dupri said your not a true player till you have a Bentley. Now every hip hop artist has one. The same goes for the Escalade.

Because much of America likes to be told what to do. And right now, much of America is listening to what the hip hop community has to say, because, frankly, they keep it real.

That said, I will only buy a car 'cause I like it. Marketing is ultimately irrelevant as proved by the trend-setting choices of the music and sports communities.

Huh? I don'tthink so. Well, maybe to a niche under-twenty crowd. I tune all that crap out. I don;t think this is the demographic Infiniti is trying to target anyway. But, like a Caddy rep said, they will take any free advertising they can get.
