I have heard conflicting reports of the QX being governerd at 110 mph and other reports of it being able to go up to 125 mph. Anyone know the actual top speed or if someone has any first hand accounts :-) of the top speed that would be great

I topped it out at under 100...not sure exactly where but somewhere around 96...pedal to the metal, wouldn't go any further.

Even with 315hp you are pushing a WHOLE LOT of air. I wonder what the drag coefficent is? About the same as a Southern Pacific locomotive at a guess.

I was able to get it up to 120 with out much of a problem but yeah, it definetly feels different then the FX

I honestly did not felt when I was going 100. It felt like I was going 80. Its just so smooth!

I took it to 95 and it felt like 75...

This is whats wrong with people. Why would ANYONE drive such a large vehicle so fast?

BS the topspeed isnt 112 , and i didnt mean 130 i meant 120 but i no sum1 hu has gone 130 , jus check out my cardomain site (its the only silver 1).

When you get in this car and drive it feels as if your driving not a fullsize suv but a large sports sedan.

I was wondering if this was a problem that i personally was having or a qx wide defect. The rear climate control only works when the front climate control is on and you cant adjust the rear so the air that comes out of the top is not all cold.

Another thing i noticed with the Qx is that when yur goin bout high way speed then u punch the gas a bit theres a long response time and the power isnt available instantly. Has anyone else noticed that?

the U.S. qx56 is governed at 112 mph. But im pretty sure it can do 140 because the range rover with 282 hp did 130 +. On the way to mammoth 7000 ft elevation, big incline, with 4 people in the car and 200 pounds of weight. i did 112 up it. so this car has a lot of power.
