There are a few documented examples of the "station wagon mod" on RRs and Bentleys from the 40's and 50's. Those were back in the day when you could still get a coachbuilder to make the body. Abbott, Mulliner and Rippon Bros. have documented examples though from the pictures I've seen, they weren't any more successful in the looks department.

How often does the manufacturer reccommend owners to treat the interior for termites?

Since that appears to be Clark Griswold driving, the Coffin is simply not there since Aunt Edna goes on the roof.
