Look, buddy, if you would spend your cold hard cash on AMERICAN products, maybe the interiors wouldn't be so crappy! http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Yeah, I've seen the Ford GT in person on the expressway too. Big deal... my aunt works at Ford and probably sees these things all the time but never mentions it to anyone.

Edmunds now has pricing up for the Five Hundred and Freestyle: http://www.edmunds.com/new/ford/index.html ! woot.

I've also seen a Freestyle on Mound Road through Shelby Township or whatever. Looks just fine, should sell like mad. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif I look forward to being rearended by one... all the bad drivers around here will trade in their Pontiac Montanas for one of these beauties, I'm sure. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

http://www.edmunds.com/new/2005/ford/fivehundred/index.html and go to the photo galleries... looks great in the rain. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/cool.gif

You know, the one event that sealed my wanting an Integra was when I went to Acura of Troy's lot one night right after a pretty good rain. Did that car shine! Metallic paint is #1.

I was actually just going to let it slide. When I'm living happily in Chicago, Cleveland, or DC, it won't really matter. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/ooo.gif I'm tired of hearing how great Oakland County is. Yes, it's got nice parts, but it's so utterly boring and I'm tired of the neighbors griping.

This is why Detroit needs to step up its tourism marketing.

1. With the auto industry dying off, tourism is where it's at for Michigan. Yes, the jobs pay for chit, but hey, have we got a new growth industry.

2. Impressionable people might actually not laugh at it. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Michigan is not a bad place to live if you think about it. Summer's are hot, which a summer should be. We've got very large lakes on three sides which provide for a lot of summer boating fun. There's plenty of room all over for riding 4-wheeler's and dirt bikes, especially up north in the sand dunes.
Winters are cold and there's plenty of snow to go around for all the winter sports.
Autumns are nice for watching the foliage.
And if all else failes, we've got jeffery feiger for comedic purposes.

Right. I've covered the natural endowment-plus-Jeffrey Feiger thing before. What we need is a living, breathing, functioning economy.
