GM just needs to put a Camaro badge on a Hummer. It'll sell! http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Sheesh, what is it with East Coast folks? I mean what's your beown (bone) to pick?
Anyway, where does this sketch come from anyway? But it's probably pretty close judging from drawings which have been circulating over the last couple of years.

No doubt they were gonna bring it back, they just needed to make it look 21st century muscle instead of the dated one they had. I think they did it, it looks nice, real nice. For 24k, it'll have to have some power to compete with the Mustang, and considering how watered down the Mustang is compared to the concept, I'd be looking forward to it.

I don't think chevy will have a problem topping the mustangs power, the old z28 still does that.

I guess this is probably an honest sketch. I mean who else besides GM would be stupid enough to post a concept drawing in bitmap format?

bad idea.
Don't follow Ford.
Don't even base it off of the first generation.
bad idea to also upload a .bmp.
We are talking with a real pro here (paint.exe pro).

67-69 Camaro and Firebird were the best looking years. Basing the looks from that is not a bad idea, especially taking the demographics that these cars aim at. Imagine if the new G.T.O. actually resembled a classic G.T.O. (instead of a Caddy Catera Coupe)..it would prob triple in sales. We here may not appreciate retro, but concidering the U.S. makes and their demographics... it makes a lot of business sense.

Sometimes I wonder how GM manages to stay in business for so long. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/rolleyes1.gif

This is the reason why I buy imports. Might as well buy a fixer upper classic.
