Thanks for posting this. It's much more user-friendly than the other giant scan in the other thread.

I still can't believe the base M outgunned all these cars. What in the world will the M35 sport and M45 do? I do wish the new Lexus GS was available for this contest. Maybe one of the other mags will have a proper shoot-out between the Lex and Infiniti.

The new GS? Yeah, where is that thing? Start-of-sale is supposed to be 03/01/05 but no press previews yet? Are they worried about it?
Do we care?

From reading, is it really true the M35 base comes with Nav sytem, blue tooth, moonroof, and push button start?

That's awesome!!

NAV is optional.
Check Infiniti's site for details.

Thanks, I figured that this one would be much more user friendly to 56k and everyone else. The other one was over 15 Megs! http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Acura dealers are already slashing 4-5K off the RL
lol

after discount, it is still MORE expensive compare to the loaded M35X

Slashing? How come? I thought the RL was flying off the lots.

I dont think so. They appear to be selling nicely across Northeast. I wouldn't buy one for $30,000 - styling is way too bland for my tastes.

I haven't heard of any price slashing and even if they were selling the RL at $5k under MSRP it wouldn't cost more than a loaded M35x as you suggest. A fully loaded M35x is $50k+. I will say that based on MSRP alone the M is the better deal, but not as drastic as some make it seem. What's deceiving about the RL's price is that it comes only one way, FULLY LOADED. Similarly equipped there isn't a huge difference in cost.

Nissan Senior VP is already gloating about the MT comparo. Go to nissannews.com and check it out.

LOL, gloating does not begin to describe it.

The new Infiniti M is also already wowing the reviewers and it’s going to make Infiniti an instant contender in the critical $40,000-plus-performance luxury sedan segment when sales begin in late February.

Just how good is this new M? I think you’ll get a pretty good idea when the new issue of Motor Trend comes out, where the M35 goes head-to-head with the leading competitors and comes out… well, I don’t want to spoil the surprise.

RL is 70k here in canada
M35X full load is 65k

RL is getting out of the dealer at 66-67k already...

for comparison
Audi S4 is 70K +/- 500 over the RL
BMW M3 is 74k
M45 is 71k for fully loaded

I have printed this article as a .pdf file, and rearranged the pages based on ranking from 1-6 rather than the magazine's 6-1. E-mail me at a3b2498@telus.net if you would like me to send you this approx. 1 MB file.
