What did you have to do to get an "M" invitation?

I got one from Palm Springs Infiniti and never gave them my address or anything. I signed up for updates on the Infiniti web site... maybe they got my address from there?

I didn't do anything for my either, I was surprised when I opened the mailbox and saw the invitation. The only way that I can figure they got my information, is that I had been in the dealership looking at the G35 Coupe and the FX45. I had asked a few questions about when the New M was coming out, but that was back in May I think. Anyway, like I said I was surprised, but happy, because I really want to sit in the car.

You can get an invitation by calling dealer and asking for one. Scottsdale Infiniti is having delear party for the Mr on 2/17. I assume other delears are doing the same.

As to how you get an invitation with out asking. You know a sales person, you trade cars through dealer on yearly basis, you asked about car and asked sales person to keep you on list of updates and you buged them about it regularly, mostly it comes down to you are an existing customer in good standing and you know someone on lot in sales.

LA, i got one from Thousand Oaks INFINITI, it was for the 7th...i didnt go though, it was a monday which was stupid. Why they didnt make it a friday or weekend is beyond me. Anyways, ive been in many times, requested many things from them but thats how i believe i got it...not a big deal

I'm guessing that I got one since I have an '03 M45. Secondly, I'm glad International Auto, near Milwaukee, is having theirs during the week. It is usually a zoo on Fridays or weekends! I wonder why you got one for the 7th as they had nothing yet to show. TO Infinit just received 3 M45's this weekend and will be showing them at the gala that is scheduled for the 17th. All 3 have NOT FOR SALE on them (for now).

I got invited to the event at Miller Infiniti in Van Nuys, CA. I called and they said all enthusiasts are welcome to come and check out the new M, with or without invites. Their event starts at 6:00 PM tomorrow (the 17th). I'll be there!

I think the new M is pretty cool - nice enough to replace my J30!

Neither do I, i'm not even 17 yet but I do ave my licences and I have been to the dealer many many times and know a salesperson their, but I never gave them my address, although I to signed up for updates on infiniti's site.

The funny thing though is that Yesterday I was at the dealer for the first time in a long time and I was talking to the sales person I know, I mentioned to him that I would probably be back on the 27th to take a test drive(my b-day is on the 27th) today I come home and find an invite to dinner from them, lol they must really want me to get one. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif My dealer is Ramsey Infiniti who is having it on the 24th, i'm am definently going.
