Bike rack

Still pondering to get a Pathfinder or a pick-up..... I need something to haul my 350lb Suzuki DR650 'street legal dirtbike' around and short of getting a trailer was thinking about the Versa-Haul bike rack versahaul.com/vh55ro.html.

What are your thoughts on the tongue capacity of the Pathy, but more importantly, the suspension load with almost 500lbs on the tongue! Is the hitch a class III or IV?

A lot cheaper to get this bike rack than a trailer! Just don't want to get it and find out that the Pathy can't handle it safely!

I think 500lbs is considered a class IV hitch. I would recommend a trailer. It may cost a little more, but be worth it in the end. Or just get a new Frontier and put your bike in the back. 265 horsepower and more versatility than a suv.
