2005Pathy

My new 2005 XE Pathy was brought about a month ago. Just yesterday, when I was riding to the gas station, I turned off the engine. When I tried to start the engine again, I was not succesful. After trying about five times, I was abl;e to get the engine on. Today I have another bad experience. First, when I was on a drive thru with the transmission on Drive, the car suddenly accelerated. It happens about four times. After that, when I was getting back to my home, the engine first, lost power and later on it shut off.
Besides that, my wife , who regularly drive the Pathy, was telling me that she was listening to a clicking sound. I don't know if the sound is from the A/C compressor. I heard the sound. It is intermittent, which leads me to believe that it's not normal.
I am planning to take the unit tomorrow to my dealer. Any suggestion of how to fix those problems?
