I know it's still early in most of the US, but those in the warmer regions, how well does the A/C on the new 2005 Pathfinders seem to work?
Thanks!

I am happy with mine! Strong streams of air at any temp.

My AC is working just fine when I use it. It is a tossup to use it vs. having the sunroof open and the windows down while driving!!!

If you have the fan on low and you are idling in neutral, does your AC make periodic hissing noises? I am not sure how else to describe it. It sounds kind of like an air leak. It will last for maybe five seconds and then stop for a minute or two before starting up again.
Maybe I need to make another warranty claim.

That just sounds like the compressor starting and stopping to me...

I would agree it "sounds" like the compressor, but since i am not there to hear it... hard to say.
Are you hearing this inside or outside the PF?

Anyone notice if you turn the fan on at the lowest temp setting without the AC actually being "on" the air comes out ridiculously low? it was 93 today had the the AC off (no light) and i was sporting high beams.

The AC is coming out so cold, my wife puts it down to level 1. It's set on 70 and with the low 90 temp here lately, we have had no problems keeping cool.
