Ok guys i just got a 2005 frontier and it has the z engine stroked, i guess. So i havnt read anything about it but since its teh same engine, wouldnt we be able to put the greddy turbo kit on it or the hks sc, just an idea to spread if it hasnt been talked about yet.

I am going along with your idea of the turbo kit working, the only thing is the space is occupied a little differently so some modification might be needed. I am not totally sure, but I know of a guy in shreveport that has a supercharger (centrifugal) on his G35 and he was putting like 400hp/tq to the ground, which would be plenty for my nismo truck http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I havnt really looked into it at all but i noticed that there is not very much room but i think theres probably more room than a z. But I was talking to a friend about it and we thought the HKS supercharger would be good for the tight space.

OK I'll be the first kill-joy/tool:
Wonder what the fuel economy is? probably 91+ octane only eh?

I doubt that people who install TT or SC kits really care about miles per gallon or if they have to run premium fuel.

Well I posed the question so you could say I am interested hearing an answer, just on my Pathfinder.

Most TT kits or even single turbo setups require premium. However, I believe it would be possible to have the ecu reflashed for regular octane? Correct me if I am wrong, but it would be similar to the hypertech programers (or diablo) that allow you to reflash supercharged mustangs for use on premium or regular octane.
