I bought these on another forum for my '05 Pathfinder, but had question on the install.

The instructional pic here has the "harness" already loaded with the wires from the ballast. My kit did not have the wires connected to the harness, just one white and one black wire with a spade connector. It did come with a socket, but it has 3 inlets. The factory harnes (9007) also has the 3 inlets with a green, black, and pink wire. This socket is suppose to connect into the stock harness. Which wire goes where..... http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/confused.gif

All the kits I've installed before had the harness connected....except this one of course.

Thanks....

On the McCulloch kit, not sure which wire is which.... but if you're bold, try connecting the black to the battery ground and the white to battery positive. If it lights up then you know that black needs to go to ground and white needs to go to your low-beam output.

On the '05 pathy at the wire loom, pink and red are your low beam outputs (blue and green are high beam outs), and the blacks are grounds.

if that is all you have then it is a true plug in. just match up the end plug it in, then one you have marked goes to the factory one... that is unless someone shafted you on the sale.

Also why are you doing away with you Hi beams.

I took a volt meter and figured out which lead is the high and which is the low beam. You lose the high beam, but that's OK. I'll just put the stock bulbs in when inspection time comes. The HID's are great.....white, not blue, and bright.

I couldn't leave well enough alone....all my cars have HID's.....

Didn't have to do that, I already told you the wire colors in my post above. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
