this past weekend i installed the monster iCruze iPod interface in my non-Bose 350z. this device lets you connect your iPod directly to your stock stereo through the CD changer port in the back of the deck. once your iPod is connected, you can control most iPod functions through the stock stereo (volume, playlist, etc.). the iCruze sees each playlist as a disc in the "cd changer." this is not an FM modulator. the sound quality is far better than FM modulators. install was pretty easy, you just have to open your dash so you can access the back of your stereo. once you access the back of the stereo, you plug in the cables (all cables needed for install are included in the kit) that come in the kit and splice in a power line and a ground line. it took me about 1hr to 1 1/2 hrs. i did not take any pix of the install but i did use pix from http://www.activetuning.com/pat/4/5/ to help figure out how to open up the dash. if you use an iPod i highly recommend this addition. my total price for the kit was about $200 with shipping as i bought the main unit on ebay(main unit approx $100 after shipping and secondary unit $99.99 plus tax). normal msrp is about $300.
