Howdy there folks! rouxroux here...Just thought I'd let you know I've had my 1st MAJOR problem with the ProCharger....here goes: This was the 1st ATI supercharger that Grubbs installed (2 years ago)....aside from some alignment problems and stripped belts, no major problems until this past weekend, when the intake snout screen rubbed a hole in the AC line! needless to say, I tried to wash/polish off all the spew, but boy, did it make a mess.
I called Grubbs yesterday and the tech who did the install (Paul) ordered the lines today...I'll be driving over to DFW EARLY on Saturday for the service. Being that I'm in Louisiana and driving to DFW on Saturday has me a bit gun-shy anyway, but maybe they'll get the repairs done and I'll be headed back east before "Rita winds" get too bad. All in all, the s/c has been fun on the wife's car, I guess this will put Grubb's warranty promises to the test on taking care of us "guiena pigs" who got the ATI C2 early on.....They've always treated us good before, we'll keep everyone posted.
Please pray for all of us down here on the Gulf coast...My in-laws are still in Slidell, living in a travel trailer in their driveway now (they rode out Katrina in the attic)....I'll let y'all know after Saturday how everything turns out.

Update 2/24: Got up and left for Dallas @ 5AM...drove through wind & rain....Grubbs did the usual magic on the repair....left Grubbs around 4PM....horrible weather on the way back, watched the winds shift from 40-50MPH from the north to the east, then the south! What a wild drive home! We got to Shreveport when the "center" of the storm was hitting....got the G tucked away in the garage and unloaded the stuff we bought in DFW. 5 minutes later I go back into the garage to get somethiing else, and I hear something coming from under the hood that sounds like a hiss...I'm thinking "No way, they did the repair perfectly"....So I raise the hood, and OH NO! The aux. fuel pump is running! I can't tell you how fast I unhooked the battery! Am I snake-bit, or what? I let it sit for a few hours, touched the cable back to the battery and, yep, still running...... http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/frown.gif http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/frown.gif http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/frown.gif What's next? Anyone want to weigh in on this?

I guess I'll break out my Procharger manual tomorrow (I'm way too tired tonight) and try to figure this one out....I've never had that happen before. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

********************** has an AMAZING FI forum. I haven't seen you post over there before, maybe you should share your misfortune with that crowd. I'd be surprised if you didn't have multiple possible problems for you to look into within 24 hours.

Good Luck!

Well, I left the battery disconnected overnight...when I re-connected it this morning, everything has seemed OK all day (although I unhooked it again tonight just to be safe)...Maybe a gremlin, but the thought of having the aux. pump running for no reason when the ignition is off sort of scares me.
No, I've never posted on that board before, I guess I should check it out sometime.
