quote:
Let’s see, Bill Ford recently said the company’s Premier Automotive Group would be profitable next year, which would be a lot easier without perpetual red-ink machine, Jaguar. Now, LeftLane news cites a report from French business magazine L’Expansion that Ford may be mulling an offer from Renault to buy Jaguar. Ford’s already denied Renault CEO Carlos Ghosn a shot at Volvo, but Jaguar may be a different story. Where Ford and Volvo are intertwined in several new models, Jaguar has few such ties to the Ford home brands’ purse strings. Renault, on the other hand, needs a luxury marque for global competitiveness (what, Infiniti’s not good enough?), and Ghosn has already proven his mettle as a turnaround artiste for Nissan. Watch this space.

I believe most people would agree with that statement, judging from the average sale statistics and market position.

Jaguar is def more premier than Infiniti. Reliability wise (exluding the QX), though, is a different story.

You never know....if Renault does buy Jaguar, they (Renault) might start to share some under pinnings from Jaguar cars with other Renault and Nissan models. This is to offset costs and could be benificial for the next Q....

Or you could just cancel the next Q and take the Jaguar XJ to town.

Cutting the costs, checking them twice, checking out what's naught & nice.
