Some of you have already seen this, but I thought I'd upload it and post on the forum anyways. It's a clip of Tsuchiya, Orido, and Wakisaka racing on the track while its raining. They are all driving on sport tires and I found the outcome to be funny.

Anyone know why the RX-7 driver seemed to intentionally spin his car? If you didn't catch it, he pulled the ebrake hard while still at speed just before entering a corner!? Maybe it was a re-creation so the producers could get more video of the car spinning??

They wouldn't recreate something like that. But he was pulling the e-brake to stop the wheels from spinning and he was turning into the spin to reduce the amount of spins the car would do...plus have some control.

Either way...it was funny how the hydroplaned so much when in boost.

It looked like the car was understeering a bit through the slower tighter corners, which could be one explanation for the driver's e-brake use (except for his overdoing it on this particular corner).
