This is why Nissan should have went to production with the Sport Concept. It's styling is targeted at a slightly younger crowd and it just plain looks cool.

Looks better. I'm not a fan of those wheels, which Mazda has shown previously.

this interior IMO totally destroys anything in it's class.....it destroyed the new sentras interior even before this refresh.

Interior is better than most of the American competition even in higher price classes.

Seriously, Nissan's not even trying with the new Sentra and Versa.

Where's my Sport Concept!?!?

The interior would be better without the dorky stereo with the red cylon light going all the way across it, i thought that would be changed with a 3 refresh. That has always looked very cheesy and juvenile to me. The New Sentra interior at least looks more adult and classier to me than the 3 interior. But the Mazda 3 sedan exterior is simply HOT for this class.

And the more I see of this Nissan Sport concept, the more I want to see it in Nissan Showrroms.

The 3 interior looks sportier in every way and looks of much higher quality than the Sentra (no way to know until I get up close with the Sentra). But otherwise, note that some of the element layout is very similar between the two designs.

You can easily turn it off, even on the current 3's.

I prefer the cleaner Sentra dash. Lets just not talk about the Sentra Exterior or suspension. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

The 3 is one fine sedan for its class. How much do they go for?

My GF got hers (an 06 stick-shift 3i Touring sedan with the side curtain airbag package) for $17K out the door. Of course the 2.3L version will be more. It's a nice car, fun to drive, looks cool, and the interior is great.

The Mazda 3 is a nice little car. This is a good example of moving upmarket and be the leader in the segment. I wonder though...why doesn't Mazda sell more of this in NA than the Sentra?

I had a 3 before trading it in on my Titan, it was one hell of a car aside from the disappointing MPG. Aside from the LED tailights, I don't see any difference?????

See, while I would agree that the 3 has the sportier looking interior, I wouldn't say that it looks like its better quality at all. The Sentra just looks like it is attempting to appeal to a more adult driver, but it doesn't look like it lacks anything in the quality department.

http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/iagree.gif Well said. People forget how crappy the current Sentra is to sit inside. Even grandmothers would fall asleep due to the lack of anything inside.

From high res pics it looks like the new Sentra has a slight edge in the finshing and materials department.

However, I haven't confirm this with my own eyes.
