We finally have our first Jim Wolf Technology kit here in house. This kit is supposed to yield over 400whp out of the box. We are one of three exclusive dealers that can work with Jim Wolf Technology and install the kit on your vehicle. If you have any questions about this, give me a call. 301-330-8835

Very nice, Will.

That would be one of my top choices along with you installing it. I like the somewhat 'stealth' FMIC's. Don't need to get a new bumper or attract unwanted attention.

Yes, we have got this kit (with a little tweaking) to work on AT cars, coupe's and sedans.

Will the OEM transmission hold up with this turbo kit installed? What can be done to ensure the transmission stands up under this much power? Thanks.

I'm assuming you are you referring to the 5AT? No, it really will not hold up to that kind of power for prolonged periods of time.

You'll need to look into a stronger torque converter, a valve body upgrade and preferably a rebuild for the clutch packs and associated internals to hold up to the heat and stronger torque. Level 10, Speed Force Racing and SGP have been developing heavy duty race transmissions for this purpose and a lot of the top tuner shops are getting more hands on in this aspect.

Yeah, sorry about that, I did mean the 5AT. What cost does the transmission upgrade add to a TT kit? Thanks.

Realistically, depending on how intensive of a rebuild you do, I would budget anywhere from $2500 for valve body + torque converter + install to $5000 for a full out rebuild with labor. Even more if you source a new or slightly used transmission for the build so you don't have the downtime.

This is going to be the next major step for my G35 to complement some other work AAM is gearing up to do for me right now. So we'll see where it leads me this winter!

Speaking of the work AAM is doing... William... http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/boxing_smiley.gif
If weather and schedule permits I'm hoping to get to Atco next week for baseline runs to set up the comparison. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

yes this is the case - not to scare anyone away but the truth is that in order to really do this or any turbo application with forced induction and high hp numbers - we would recommend working on the tranny as well -
