I still cant get over those headlights, they looked pinched and ugly and not too sporty at all. I do like the blue halo in each of the lenses though:)

Chops but I don't expect the new M3 to look much different from the the 3 series coupe.

BMW doesn't make "happy little Hondas."

It's been unoficially confirmed that it will have a 415bhp modular V-8 with a 7-speed SMG II and a 6MT will also be offered for "purists."
That "purists" remark really pisses me off. **** you BMW! **** you for indiscriminatly calling me a ****ing neanderthal! More like "A 6MT will be available for the ****ing backwoods ardennes forest polocks who aren't as elightened as us to the advantages of the SMG II."
I control my car, Not Bayerische Motoren Werke AG! **** you for trying to limit me to 3 full-throttle launches! Just because your product can't take the abuse doesn't mean I have to suffer! I can launch a RS4 all I want and the engineers stand behind their product!
Well, it's not like I'm buying one...I'm just saying. :)

I don't know what it is, but I can't really get to like the new 3 series!! I was the same with the old one when it first came out. Now, I DO like the E46...I guess the BMW's just grow on me.

BMW has always shown enormous pride in setting the design curve. Everyone hated the New 7er, but look how many cars a few years later take after it's lines. Same thing with the new coupe. Fresh, bold design that catches everyone off-guard.
You're right, they have to grow on you.

Very True, BMW's designs really do have to grow on you, I've grown to appreciate them more and more, the 5 series is still almost too out there to look at, I like the last generation 5 series better. But these new 3 series coupes and sedans and the M3 I'm liking more and more.

Im just waiting for this thing to come out so i can possibly pick up an E46 M3 for a decent price, which i think still kicks ass and looks a whole lot better than this.

There should be a whole bunch coming back from lease when this guy comes out so you should have no problem.

Yup, you can pick one up just in time for it's first major service. Prepare to look like this  once you see how much that will set you back.

Lol, you're right!
If you're serious about getting one, then it's WAY cheaper to buy all the special tools and the code-reader handheld dohickey thing-a-ma-bob.
He's not joking. They're expensive.

My buddy just got a 2001 M3 with ~20K miles. Came with 100K miles power train warranty and I think ~60 miles full warranty. It's not that scary unless you wanna keep it after 100K.
