Is it me or does this thing look like the final decision makers couldn't decide between two dashboards and they just figured out a way to make them fit together. Its like a cross between the Camry dash and a 1980's Monti-Carlo.
Other then that, this truck is going to sell really well, unfortunately.I hope Nissan responds to this quickly. I really hope the new QX-56 interior makes it into the Titan in some form or another.
Yeah, I noticed that also. I really dont like the dash or interior of the
new Tundra. :)

None of it very exciting, except perhaps the black plastic cupholders. Those are winners.

Its like the driver gets to ride in one vehicle, the passenger gets to ride in another.

I don't like the gauge cluster. The tunnels seem to be obstructive, but maybe it's just because the photograph was taken from the wrong angle.
Other than that, it's great that every interior dimension is bigger than the Silverado on all cab versions, since the tundra has a shorter hood.
I'd still take the Titan's styling, I just wish the Titan was a real truck like the Tundra, Silverado, and F-150.
The Titan seems to have floppy light duty parts, including the metal body panels... hence the reason it wasn't possible to make a 3/4 ton Titan... plus the Titan needs much better mpg.

According to EPA ratings and real world mpg estimates, i'd say ALL of the full size trucks need much better mpg. Aside from a truck with dual mode hybrid/CVT/diesel/cylinder shutdown/all kinds of expensive features, mpg on these things really won't change drastically in real life driving.
I'm excited to see what kind of HDs Toyota and Nissan will introduce. Rumor has it that the Tundra might just use a CAT engine.
