OKay I bought a s13 from a guy for $100. he just wanted to get rid of it cuz it wasnt running. So i gave him the $100 and i got the car and the title. It seems the guy i bought it from never put the car in his name. Its still in the previous owners name, signed by the guy i got it from. i kept trying to get the guy to go to the courthouse and put the car in his name, then i could just put it in my name once the new title arrived but he never did and one day he gave me my $100 bucks back, i still have the car, and havent heard from him since. This has been like 4 or 5 months ago just trying to see if i have any options/hopes of getting it in my name. Any advice? what are my options if any? Thanks.

try contacting the previous owner, and have him transfer the title?

maybe the dmv can write it off.

the previous owner before i got it from most recent owner was out of state and just going to college here. She signed the back of the title, and the guy i also got it from signed the back. so its signed and im still trying to figure out what the heck to do with it.

sell it for $100 and cut all ties.

If there is no way of getting the title in my name im gonna take everything off of it, part it out, and have it hauled off to a junkyard.

someone else recently had an issue with not being able to get a title in their name due to no seller.

look up that thread for fix (the result is that dmv will allow you to title it)
