The reason for my taking the pics and putting them on the sticky picture thread is not because I am a power-mad, headline-stealing, egotistical, #@#$@%@!!! so-and-so, but because it is an easy way for anyone cruising into the forum to finds pics of the G37 without having to fish around searching endlessly for threads with pics.

I do want to take this moment to thank everyone who has posted pics of the new G37 that they have found.

Nice side by side pics. The fronts end are a lot more similiar than they are different IMO. Outside of the front fascia and the headlights, 08 looks slightly taller, more rounded and ab it more refined.

The fascia doesnt look as drastic as I first thought. I am worried that it might have lost some of that sporty look and resembles to sedan too much at the front

In one of the pictures from Road and Track (that BostonMerlin was so kind to clue us in on) there is a picture of a G37 running Nissan's test track with what appears to be a suction mounted camera attached to the left rear quarter-panel. Or is it some sort of measurement instrument?

I zoomed and tried to sharpen the picture, but the original resolution was rather low and also, my skills in Photoshop are not first-rate I am sorry to say. :o

Any guesses?

Looks like a camera to me. I'd be more interested if it was like a sidemounted machine gun or something though :shooter11:

one clip of the g37 arizona track video shows a view from that camera.. only happens for a few seconds but thats the one!

It's amazing how the side by side pic makes the earlier coupe look so much more aggressive. In this pic the flat G37 bumper makes it look a little like an Altima.
