Some gorgeous, some okay and some kinda wierd!

If you didn't pick the coupe, after you select which you think is the best, please leave a reply to describe where you think the coupe approximately ranks in your mind.

Quickie impressions - how come Ford can't make a car even remotely as nice as the Iosis? The eXaxis looks like a dune buggy for exhibitionists. The Maserati is so graceful and the Renault is also very nice. Personally I think the Coupe Concept holds its' own with the best of these exotic cars, but my personal fave is the Giugiaro. Not only is it styled well, but it runs on hydrogen!

The Infiniti Coupe Concept will have a hard time seeing as how it seems to be one of the most production ready cars of the bunch. I'm not sure what the judges look for in this contest but concepts usually should be more outrageous and yet pleasant to the eyes.

1 - Ferrari P4/5
2 - Renault Nepta
3 - Tie between MB Ocean Drive, Infiniti Coupe Concept and Jaguar CX-F

The MB and Infiniti look like production models and not concepts. The Jag looks a little too busy in the front and the hood.

The rest don't matter because they are fugly. The Lexus suffers from Toyota trying too damn hard to make something out of the ordinary.

My vote goes to the Infiniti Coupe concept.

But if money were truly no object:

Good choice. IMO, Aston Martin makes the most beautiful vehicles on the road today. I'd take an Aston Martin over any other car in the world no matter price or performance.

Indeed. There something about Aston Martin's that exude elegance. A true gentleman's ride. Everything inside and out shows an exceptionally high attention to detail. When women see the AM logo, they know what the deal is(that's why James Bond gets so much a$$).

I love Aston Martins as well - not only are they beautiful but that engine sound is to die for! Every now and then I come across them in the City or on the commute. They're not a small car!

As to the poll - interesting how well the Benz is doing - not that it isn't an elegant car, but I thought the more sporty or modernistic concepts/prototypes would get more votes.

I voted for the Giugiaro because I just think it is a great design (except for the 1-person cockpit!) plus it has an HO (Hydrogen) powerplant. In my eyes, it is that technological edge that puts it ahead of the Maser and the G concept.

The Ferrari is very nice, but hey, it's a Ferrari - they're supposed to look like that! :)

Outside of the Maserati though I think the G coupe is great! The Jag is nice but IMHO it looked like a refabbed Aston, which isn't bad but also isn't original. The G coupe to me, while not ground-breaking, is sort of a more graceful 21st Century take on the 240Z (which was a revolutionary car in its' time.) Maserati is really hitting its' stride lately - moving out from under the shadow of the Prancing Pony to make a name for itself with an elegant power. The Italians have a way with design - although it's sometimes hit-or-miss (there's a blooper or two for every three or four Mamma Mias! Anyone remember the Lambo SUV?)

The Competizione that Alfa Romeo is releasing would be in my garage if only for the fact that I lack about 100 large and the influence to snag one of the very few that will make it across the pond! :(

That's tough... I have been in LOVE with the Jag concept since the first pictures were leaked. However knowing deep down what the Pininfarina could be, makes it SO much more car!

Love the Jag and Ferrari, but was looking at that Opel, and thinking that was waht I was EXPECTING Infiniti to move the G coupe towards, rather than the look they did for '08.

Interesting - you gotta love the car business!
