G37 - Daylight Pic - in red

I posted this pic deep into another g37 thread.. just in case you missed it here it is.. Looks like we have a sport model with the optional spoiler. At first glance this car looks very close to our beloved g35.

Wow, this comparison bodes poorly for the 37 imo. I can hardly tell the difference b/w the 2. My advice - go with the redesigned and gorgeous 07 sedan...

from my perspective infiniti kept many of the things people like about the g35 (such as that profile shot above).. but improved upon just about everything else. I'm not saying anything bad about the sedan (or the g35 coupe for that matter).. only to say that people who buy a sedan prob buy it because it's practical.. you buy a coupe because it's not! :). Of course it's not my place to say why someone buys a sedan over a coupe or visa versa. I think they did a fantastic job of keeping the g35 in the rearview mirror when they designed the g37. If it were too radical of a departure you might loose the essence of what made the g35 a hit.

ps.. i have an 11mo old and another kid on the way.. i'll prob be driving a four dour soon enough!

I still like the original design. Particularly from the front cowl forward. I just wish I could make my perfect car by giving my original G all the updates of the new G and a few of the styling cues from the new one (like the side lower sills), but mostly in the interior.
