I'd get it loaded with the 6MT if I were ordering it. The 4WAS is a tough decision though. It's been around for a while on some older Nissan's (as well as some older Honda's) and I've heard that a lot of people disable it because of weird handling characteristics. Then again, with the modern electronics for stability control systems, they may have worked out the bugs. I would probably be afraid of something like this on a new car. I'd definitely want to drive it before I made any decision.

How long do you think that you'll keep the car? If you're going to keep it for a long time, I might advise against it. If you change cars quite often, I'd probably be inclined to try it if it wasn't too expensive of an option.

Isn't the GT-R supposed to be coming out with a similar 4WAS system? If so, they've probably had time to really work out all the bugs with it considering that the car has been in development for what seems like forever.

Bingo... I think Nissan has it right if they are willing to put it on their flagship.

That being said, I lucked out when ordering my G and we sourced one already en'route. Had I had to wait the 90+ days to get one from the factory, I would have gotten a 4WAS car.

Just got a G35 sport off the lot 2 months ago. I will probably keep the G37 a year or so...depends on how well I like it.

I'd like to see a 4-wheel steering system on a car that helps with low-speed manuvering. Not that I have problems parking but others could use the help.

Nothing concrete at this point, speculation is base price around 33-35 grand with the options packages being priced the same as on the sedan. (this from the various magazine sources)
