Hard to tell anything from that angle.

It doesn't look bad - better than a G35 would as a 'vert probably - but still I have some concerns.

If it does come out, my fear is that it will be what the SC430 looks like now - a lux-cruiser with not much to do with performance.

Here's hoping the G coupe continues to accent performance ahead of luxness, not the other way around.

I am sure Infiniti will always keep an emphasis on performance on any G model. I think the design translates into convertible form well.

It would be pretty nice looking, far better than the SC430... which looks like a normal car with a bad case of the mumps. Since the 350Z offers a roadster you would think it wouldn't be too hard to do a G version.

Infiniti G37 Coupe-Convertible to be unveiled in 2009

When Infiniti launched the G37 in March, they announced it will be a big competitor for the BMW 3-Series Coupe (http://www.topspeed.com/cars/car-news/infiniti-g37-coupe-convertible-to-be-unveiled-in-2009-ar36650.html#). It is more than normal for Infiniti to also target the 3-Series Convertible. And they will starting 2009 when the company will unveil the G37 Coupe-Convertible.
The G37 Coupe-Convertible will have the same design elements as the Coupe version. If it's from TopSpeed, Autospies and the rest of those websites that claim to have the "latest scoop" on upcoming cars, then it ain't worth much.;)

I want it, I just hope that it will come with AWD, and sport package, because I live in NYC. I'm dreaming here but I wish you can get it with a dark graphite and red interior. My lease expires in March 2010 so it will perfect for me.
Guys what do you think of my color conbination? I also heard that it might come as a Hybrid too has anyone heard that?:auto:

yes convertible coupe should be in your local showroom in december. however, current plans are for the hybrid to be in the sedan only.

Hybrid? Why again would anyone ever buy a hybrid? Oh yeah, to waste money so you can have a slow car that makes you look like you care about the environment despite the fact that you are only hurting it.

+1. :caged:

Luxury/upscale hybrids are such an oxymoron. I hope Infiniti doesn't try to cater to the luxo-hybrid poseurs...leave that to Lexus.
