View Full Version : Renault Laguna Coupe Concept
Not as bad as I expected and definitely better than the dull sedan...

As long as it's RWD it's be pretty slick...I like it=)

No luck, it's based on the sedan which is FWD only.
But it should have an optional 4WS.

Looks a thousand times better than the Altima coupe....

It looks a lot more low-slung than the Alti coupe, even if that's what it's based on. I'd expect the concept to look better than a real world car, so I'm interested to see what the finished product looks like, but this thing is pretty hot for FWDer.

It needs a power moonroof. No power moonroof, no sale, just like Jaguar XK and Pontiac GTO.

Well aware of it. This car is too good for mere words.

Tourist - MType is allowed, but only because we like him :)
Looks good and yes this is based off the same platform as the Altima if I'm not mistaken.

It`s just a concept I know, but I don`t see any CUP HOLDERS! This could be a serious omission! Midwest sales will suffer.

There was one parked last night down the street. I was thinking to myself: it's too small to be a sports coupe and too big to be a cruiser. Perfect wedge side profile shape, though.

I remember driving my 77 Renault R17 Gordini that the dealers couldn't give away new. Great engine, crappy hardware. I wonder if anything has improved.

Says it has a new Nissan/Renault 3 liter diesel, good for 265 hp and 406 lb ft of tq. Any chance this engine will be the one finding its way into the Maxima?

If this is real, I would hope the diesel powered Maxima has similar numbers. 406 lb ft  . I'd like to see at least 300 lb ft and over 30-40 mpg.
