I've been noticing a lot more Rogue commercials on TV these days during primetime big shows like prison break last night. Saw an ad in my latest Automobile Mag. Also my real reason for posting today... a flash media commercial on the Yahoo homepage of the Rogue swerving in and out of traffic. Good stuff!

Yes, I have seen these commercials and ads too. In fact, I am tired of the city street maze commercials already. In my opinion they are too gimmicky and not enough about the car.

Although I got the 1st one in western pa, all dealerships in the area have several. It won't be long before I see them on the road too.

The engine sounds so sweet in the marble maze commercial. It even has some hints of a turbo sound.

It sounded like an unrefined buzzy I4.
Rowdy to people who like rowdy.
"Unrefined" to people who like it quiet, such as Consumer Guide.

I'm fine with a buzz saw engine. Sounds fun.

The Rogue is proving to be pretty popular, it is on Yahoo!s Top Searched list on the home page. Not too often do you see a car on that list. I think Nissan is going to sell a ton of these things.

I completely agree with you. Eventually there will be plenty of owners finding this area of FA, but right now they seem to be missing. :(

I drove past my local dealership yesterday and they had a FWD Alloy Orange outside. Wow, bright but these colors have an iridescence to them.

You can't even buy this car if you wanted to.
At the Texas State Fair, the Rogue is still on a stage, locked, not for people to get into.
Dealers still don't have the Rogue listed on their web sites.
There's none on the lot yet.

4 dealerships are within 16 miles of my home and each of them has 2 right now. This is just the first delivery that unloaded. I guess it is slower to distribute to the inland states.

Saw it the other day on the DVR so I can't be sure when it actually aired. A couple were putting a silver Rogue through the paces on snowy streets and there was a quick shot of a folded down seat. There was a long pause on the AWD logo of the tailgate. Much more consumer interesting than those original Marble Maze, IMO.

Saw that commercial again last night and it just does not look like real snow to me. The car is too clean and the tires don't look like they have been out tracking, nothing is sticking or getting thrown. What do you think?

Hmm; seems pretty darn real to me, even if it were fake...

The Rogue has caught my attention in a big way. While there is no need for me to upgrade in size from an Altima sedan (no wife or kids... yet!), my dad is looking at AWD Nissans in the sub-30k pricerange. I told him about the Rogue and he may actually spring for one when he is ready to trade in his 03 G35 sedan. He loves the G's handling but is an avid skier* and would like better winter traction. He can no longer justify the G35x or a comporably equipped Murano due to his financial situation and would like something that yields better mileage anyway. If he ends up getting one, I'd love to drive it!

*I am not a skier, I hate the cold, and am moving to California next year. In short, I wish I could afford to buy the G35 off him. Oh well.:(
