2009 maxima sketch

I wouldn't completely discount it, but it looks like its drawn by a serious beginner

I don't see many Altima similarities...maybe the rear/tailights? The front looks like an Audi from the side profile, which is a good thing. I guess the rear door handles being integrated into the C-pillar lend to the coupe-like theme that Nissan is going after?

It looks promising to me!

I do see Altima in the overall profile with the short overhangs and short rear deck. There are also elements of Audi in the front and TL in the rear. It looks good and, more importantly, much smaller than the 6th gen (thank God!). If this is it I'll be impressed. Here's hoping for an interior that's the quality of the 09 Murano's.

Looks like it may be credible as the post about the front end being "GT-R" like mysteriously disappeared that was posted by a sales rep that saw it after his 2008 sales ramp up meeting....Hmmmmmm, I see GT-R style headlights.

That looks like something I drew in 6th grade. The dimensions and lines aren't practical in any sense of form for a production car.

Honestly it looks like someone saw the Maxima, but couldn't take pics of it and tried to draw it from memory. Thats the only thing I can think of.

This is exactly what I thought upon seeing the sketch. Hmm, I'd like to know what the members here who claim to have seen photos of the Maxima think of this sketch. From memory, is this anything like you saw? Novyz, Tried, Ron... what do you guys think???

I don't know what some of those that claim to have seen the car are saying....but this sketch is suspiciously close...but so crudely drawn...what the hell is going on...anyone that has seen the car knows that sketch is close...not 80% close, about 70%. There's no denying whoever drew it has seen the car.

Anyone that says otherwise is ignoring the fact that whoever drew it is drawing a SIDE view. Let's be honest, this is freakishly close for how amateur it looks

Rear door handles aren't the same, and side windows are much higher in the sketch; but you're right. Maybe!

It looks like there is foam or something on the hood to distort the proportions - the stripes go up/down transversely across the surface.
