Just wanted to stop by introduce myself. My wife just got an 08 Rogue SL loaded I'm a car nut that has a tendency to trade vehicles every couple of years. I traded in a 06 VW GTI (nice car no problems). In the last 10 years I've also owned a 03 350Z, 99 Honda CRV, 05 Honda Element, 99 Lexus ES300, Acura Integra, 00 Civic Si, etc. I'm going to drive her 04 Honda Accord EX-L for a few months. It's nearly paid off and it would be nice to go without payments for a while. I'm also considering buying a motorcycle and just using the Accord for work since it's been such a good vehicle. Her mind was set on the CRV until she drove the Rogue. She really likes that it's keyless and the bluetooth. We also looked at a Mazda CX-7 and drove a Saturn Vue V6. We were surprised that it came down to the Rogue and the Vue considering that we've had over 7 Honda's and have been completely satisfied with each of them. ON the other hand we've only owned one Nissan (350Z) and it had a few glitches. The only down side that I've seen so far is that I'm not used to the CVT. It is a bit louder than the other vehicles when your accelerating but once you get up to speed it was the quietest.

BTW-Since we live in Iowa we purchased some weathertech floorliners based on the recommendations on this board. They were $$$$ but they seem to be made well.

Nice color...

Keep us updated as you spend more time in it. I am considering one for our next car, I just wish the fuel economy was better.

Welcome to the board dmclone. I'm sure you have been here reading for a while and your input about the CVT hit the provincial nail on the head. That became the hardest factor for my change over from 6 consecutive Maxima's.

I must admit, though, the lack of shifting at the wrong time is not missed. Keep inputing your ideas, got any pics?

It will be dirty as soon as it leaves the garage.
