18" Nismo wheels fit on an R35 GT-R. We tried today, and they clear the front and rear brakes with no real concerns.

Why, some may ask would you "down grade" to a 18" ? Tire selection. Race tires mostly come only as large as an 18. And I am not a street car/ street tire type of guy. Real cars are fast on real tires.

That's great news. With the vipers and Z06s and 911s, there are some more r comps in 19", but the 18" selection is still much better. It makes me wonder why Nissan went with 20s when 18" would fit. 19" would have been a decent compromise IMO.

The R35 is Really big compared to the R32-34 and even though the 18" fits, IMHO, I don't think it would look good.
Thanks Sean! Please let us know when we can see pictures with rubber on in order to guage the clearance gap.

Who cares about bigger wheel sizes? It only adds weight! And, like is said above, there are far more lightweight wheels and good track tires available in 18" and below.
Running lightweight 17" Enkei RPF01 with Yoko A032Rs and drop the G coupe when I track - it will pull around 1.2 G's in the Carousel at Road America. Grips on a turn like a starving dog will bite a T-bone. Running a lap in the low 2:50's is not out of the question.
I can only imagine what an R35 GT-R with an appropriate track configuration will do .... 2:25? Lower?
I hope one shows up at the annual October DE at RA! I might just have to show up!
